The NBC News-aired debate saw a heated exchange between Haley and Ramaswamy, with the latter referring to Haley as "Dick Cheney in 3-inch heels" and Haley firing back by calling Ramaswamy "scum" after he mentioned her daughter's use of TikTok.

Fifty-five percent of voters rated Haley's performance as excellent or very good, while only 33% said the same for Ramaswamy. Despite this, former President Donald Trump remained the top choice for primary voters, with 63% of respondents considering voting for him.

Why It Matters: The debate and the poll results highlight the rising tension within the GOP. The feud between Haley and Ramaswamy escalated during the debate when Ramaswamy criticized Haley’s daughter for using TikTok.

According to a Benzinga report, Ramaswamy accused Haley of hypocrisy for criticizing him over the use of TikTok while her own daughter used the platform. This exchange resulted in Haley calling Ramaswamy “scum,” further fueling the controversy within the party.
