Honda HNDAF is ready to make a splash in the electric vehicle (EV) market with the unveiling of its first all-electric SUV, the Honda Prologue, set to arrive in 2024.
The Japanese automaker is launching the Prologue with pre-sales starting later this year. The SUV is co-developed by General Motors GM and is part of Honda’s ambitious EV strategy for the U.S. market, Electrek reported.
“The arrival of the all-new Honda Prologue is a pivotal moment for the brand as Honda begins the transition to our zero-emissions future,” stated Lance Woelfe, AVP of Honda Sales at America Honda.

The Prologue is expected to be priced in the upper $40,000s (before incentives and tax credits) and will offer an anticipated 300 miles of EPA range. The vehicle is built on GM’s Ultium platform and is part of Honda’s plan to sell 2 million EVs globally by 2030.
The company has also highlighted the Prologue’s sporty and refined driving experience, optimized by Honda’s suspension design. The electric SUV features a clean, modern design, and a spacious interior packed with features.
The Prologue will be available in single-motor (FWD) and dual-motor (AWD) configurations with three trims, EX, Touring, and Elite. Its tech-rich cabin features dual screens, Google built-in standard, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The full pricing details will be announced closer to its 2024 launch.
