Elon Musk Isn't Dating GM's Mary Barra: He Has This To Say Though On The Photos

Tesla Inc CEO Elon Musk responded to artificial intelligence-generated pictures of him and General Motors Company CEO Mary Barra “dating.”

What Happened: Musk reacted to Brian Lovett, a tech YouTuber, on Twitter. Lovett posted a picture of the two executives holding hands, which was tagged by readers as an “AI generated image.”

Musk said in his response, “I would never wear that outfit.”

Why It Matters: Lovett later posted a video on his YouTube channel, noting that his images of Musk and Barra together went viral. He said that this was his very first response from the Tesla CEO.

The YouTuber acknowledged that he did not make the images totally “photorealistic” but said it shows where “we’re at with this technology.”

Barra was credited by President Joe Biden last year for the electric vehicle revolution. Previous praise lavished by the president on Detroit-based vehicle makers for their contribution to EVs caused Musk to react with “Rolls on Floor Laughing” emojis.
