Edward Snowden has sympathy for Elon Musk's concerns about security around his family members, but he asked the billionaire to think that he's living in a world where even "normal people" aren't safe.
What Happened: Addressing the hustle and bustle surrounding personal security concerns over the past couple of days on Twitter, Snowden said that while he sympathizes with Musk, he is a powerful public figure in a world where "even normal people are constantly tracked."
He tweeted, "Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not."
