EXCLUSIVE: Equity Animal Ropes In Former JP Morgan Official Laura Justis As MD

New York-based Investor Relations firm, Equity Animal, named its first Managing Director, Laura Justis.

What Happened? Laura joined Equity Animal from @PlatinumEquity, an LA-based private equity firm focused on leveraged buyouts. 

Laura will be based out of the company headquarters in New York, NY, and starts on October 17.

Before Platinum Equity, she was an Investment Banker in @JPMorgan's Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) group, focused on data centers, digital infrastructure, and telecommunications, including working on $15.4 billion of transactions during her tenure. 

Why Does It Matter? Laura will be critical in expanding Equity Animal's Investor Relations services by forging and leading relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and equity research analysts. 

"Laura will be instrumental in expanding Equity Animal's coverage with publicly traded companies that are committed to democratizing access to management for all investors while enabling clients to better understand and improve communications with existing and potential new investors, family offices, as well as equity research analysts," said Mark Moran, CEO of Equity Animal.
