Visa Inc V shares were trading higher Thursday in sympathy with Paypal Holdings Inc PYPL, which reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter results and issued fiscal year 2021 sales guidance above estimates.
Strong earnings and guidance from PayPal have lifted the payments space for the session.
Visa is the largest payment processor in the world. In fiscal 2020, it processed almost $9 trillion in purchase transactions.
Visa shares were trading up 3.77% at $208.97. The stock has a 52-week high of $220.39 and low of $133.93.
