Why Boeing's Stock Is Trading Lower Today

Boeing Co BA shares are trading lower on Thursday.

The weakness is potentially related to reports of American Airlines warning of possible furloughs, which could have negative implications for the overall airline space. The airline sector was one of the most affected sectors due to lower travel demands caused by the pandemic.

U.S. jobless numbers and weak economic data out of China have also caused macro concerns for the session.

Boeing shares were trading down 3.49% at $181.39 at the time of publication on Thursday. The stock has a 52-week high of $391 and a 52-week low of $89.
