  • February 2004: Facebook Inc is founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
  • October 2005: Facebook launches its photos feature with unlimited storage.
  • September 2006: Facebook expands its platform from college and high school students to everyone over the age of 13 with a valid email address.
  • January 2007: Facebook launches mobile support with m.facebook.com.
  • November 2008: Facebook launches Facebook Credits to allow users to pay for gifts for friends through the platform.
  • September 2009: Facebook turns cash-flow positive for the first time ever.
  • June 2010: Facebook enables users to “Like” other users’ comments.
