People Freaked Out About Apple's Device-Bricking iOS 10 Update

Apple Inc. AAPL released its new iOS 10 dubbed "The Biggest iOS Release Ever" and people freaked out, as a considerable number of users reported their iPhone and iPad devices were “bricked” after the over-the-air update.

While this problem is somewhat reversible, devices need to be plugged into a computer and restored using iTunes.

Initial versions say the problem comes from a slight difference between the iOS 10.0 that is downloaded OTA and the iOS 10.0.1 you get from iTunes. Just in case, make sure to back up all of your data before going forward with the latest iOS update.

Apple just issued a statement: "The problem was quickly resolved and we apologize to those customers. Anyone who was affected should connect to iTunes to complete the update or contact AppleCare for help."

Rage Against The Machine

As usual when such widespread problem arise, enraged people are not holding back their thoughts on Twitter Inc TWTR.
