Apple's Siri Is Coming To Your Mac

During the first day of the Apple Inc. AAPL Worldwide Developers Conference, the company announced Apple Pay was finally arriving to Mac. However, it's not only Apple’s online payments system that’s becoming available for use on its personal computers.

Apple’s latest operating system, renamed macOS (instead of OS X) Sierra, will finally support Siri on desktop and laptop computers. Same as in mobile devices, Mac users will only need to say “hey Siri” to bring the AI assistant up.

Siri will now help Mac users find their files, send messages and even perform tasks in the background, while using other apps in full-screen mode.

Other improvements in the new macOS include the ability to make your Mac unlock automatically every time you get your iPhone or Apple Watch close enough, the option to sync multiple desktops – from different computers, and better support for iCloud Drive.

Siri also saw several upgrades, including wider third party integrations.
