announced Monday, a proposal to acquire all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Tribune Publishing Company

for $12.25 per share in cash. The offer is valued at approximately $815 million, including the assumption of approximately $390 million of debt outstanding as of December 31, 2015. Tribune Publishing confirmed it received an unsolicited offer from Gannett, and said it would respond to Gannett as soon as possible. Tribune Publishing closed at $11.50 on Friday, up 53%.
Boyd Gaming to Acquire Las Vegas Assets Of Cannery Casino Resorts for $230MThe Deal
