Report: Nelson Peltz's Trian Management Said To Be Eyeing A Stake In Time Warner

Nelson Peltz's name has been added to a long list of rumored investors who are eyeing a large stake of Time Warner Inc TWX. Related Link: Icahn: I Do Not Own One Share Of Time Warnera According to a report by the New York Post, Nelson Peltz's Trian Fund Management could "soon be a more vocal player" in Time Warner's direction as he is eyeing an activist position. Peltz sits on Madison Square Garden Co MSG's Board of Directors along with Richard Parsons - a former CEO of Time Warner. The publication suggested that his stint on Madison Square Garden's Board has "whet his appetite." The New York Times also pointed out that Peltz's advisers include Michael White, a former DirecTV Chairman. White brings "deep knowledge" of the pay-TV market. Shares of Time Warner were trading higher by 0.55 percent at $70.75 ahead of Monday's market open.
