Berkshire Hathaway Acquires Precision Castparts for $235/Share in CashThe Deal:
The Boards of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.
BRKBRK and Precision Castparts Corp.
PCP have unanimously approved a definitive agreement for Berkshire Hathaway to acquire PCP for $235 per share in cash, in a deal valued at approximately $37.2 billion.
The deal is expected to close in Q1 of 2016.
Precision Castparts closed at $231.275 on Monday, a gain of 19%.
Blackbaud to Acquire Smart Tuition for $190MThe Deal:
Blackbaud, Inc.
BLKB announced Monday, it has signed an agreement to acquire the provider of payment software and services for private schools and parents, Smart Tuition, for $190 million. The closing is expected to occur within 90 days.
Blackbaud closed at $60.79 Monday, a gain of 2.5%.
Shenandoah Telecom to Acquire NTELOS for $9.25/ShareThe Deal:
NTELOS Holdings Corp.
NTLS announced Monday, that it has agreed to be acquired by Shenandoah Telecommunications Company
SHEN for $9.25 per share in cash or approximately $640 million. The deal is expected to close in early 2016.
NTLEOS closed at $7.31 Monday and traded at $9.00 after-hours.
