Q3 SEC 13F filings from large fund managers show significant interest in Alibaba Group Holding Ltd (NYSE: BABA).

7.2 million shares acquired. Valued at $639.72 million as of end of Q3 and would be worth 828.72 million as of Friday.

George Soros/Soros Management

4.4 million shares purchased at a value of over $390 million.

Julian Robertson/Tiger Management

1.2 million shares valued at more than $108 million in the filing. It was the firm's largest holding and represents nearly 30 percent of all the holdings at the time of the filing.

725,000 shares acquired.

Bought 300,000 shares.
