announced the award of a contract valued at more than $50 million from Rolls-Royce plc, United Kingdom, to produce aft fan composite cases for the new Trent XWB-97 engine. The contract has the potential to grow to more than $200 million.  This Rolls-Royce engine is the sole engine now available to power the Airbus A350-1000 aircraft variant.
