Gold Futures Higher

June Gold futures are trading higher by $6 at $1228 in Tuesday's session. In premarket trading, the contract found support at $1917 and began to move higher. Just before the open of the equities markets, it had a quick spike over the pair of highs from Thursday ($1225.10) and Monday ($1225.10) to $1230.90. Since making that high, it has been consolidating at the $1228 area.
