Raytheon's Pratt & Whitney Plans $206M Investment In Columbus, Georgia Business

Raytheon Technologies Corp's RTX Pratt & Whitney disclosed the investment of $206 million to enhance capacity and footprint in Georgia.

The investment is expected to support the commercial and military engine programs and will be used for purchasing new machinery, equipment, and expansions. 

Pratt & Whitney aims for an 81,000-square-foot expansion of the Columbus Engine Center.

The investment is expected to boost overhaul capacity to 400 GTF engines annually and create around 400 new jobs by end-2028.

Apart from this, today, Pratt & Whitney disclosed the launch of an affiliate, Pratt & Whitney Maroc (PWM), in Casablanca, Morocco, to build detailed static and structural machined parts for varied engine models
