Over the last two years, VeeFriends and Gary Vaynerchuk (aka Gary Vee) have hosted an annual conference that combines elements of music, entertainment, business and Web3.
After hosting the event in Minnesota and Indianapolis over the last two years, VeeCon 2024 heads to a new location.
VeeCon 2024 Date And Location: After two years of the conference being in Midwest cities, VeeCon 2024 heads to Los Angeles, California.
The event will be hosted at the L.A. Live Entertainment District, spanning from Aug. 9 through Aug. 11, 2024.
“With its world-class venues and accessibility, Los Angeles offers a dynamic environment for attendees to engage and connect with each other,” Vee said. “We’re incredibly excited to bring a one-of-a-kind experience to the city of LA and VeeCon attendees in 2024.”
VeeCon 2024 will bring together world-class speakers, thought leaders and trailblazers in one location to share their knowledge and advice with attendees.
The latest iteration of VeeCon will focus on five core themes when selecting speakers and topics: business, marketing, technology, innovation and popular culture.
L.A. Live has over four million square feet of event space and is owned by AEG. The area includes the Peacock Theater, a music and theater venue that seats 7,100 people. The Peacock Theater has hosted top events like the ESPY Awards, American Music Awards, Emmy Awards and the American Idol finale.

What’s VeeCon?: For those unfamiliar, VeeCon is a super conference created by serial entrepreneur Gary Vee and VeeFriends, a non-fungible token collection hand-drawn and launched by Vee in 2021.
When speaking to Benzinga in 2023, Vee used this as an example to explain the nature of the conference: “VeeCon 2023 will be a bigger and bolder event, think Young Davos meets SXSW,” he said.
Last year’s event featured musical performances, speeches, panels and fireside chats that covered topics that included Web3, technology, pop culture, business and finance.
Vee hopes to build on the success and momentum of the event each year. The conference has a mission to build relationships, community and provide education in the Web3 space.
Owners of VeeFriends Series 1 NFTs will get free tickets to the event, with VeeCon being the first NFT-ticketed super conference. VeeFriends Series 1 NFTs have a current floor price of 1.75 Ethereum ETH/USD or around $2,836.54. Each NFT will include tickets to VeeCon 2023. Tickets for the event will be airdropped to holders and can then be transferred or sold on a marketplace.
