Exclusive: Argentina Completes Its First Export Of Cannabis Beauty Products

420 CBD Premium has set a milestone in the Argentine cannabis cosmetics industry by completing the country's first export of a cannabis-infused cosmetic product. The concentrated cannabidiol oil (CBD), 420 CBD Relax, has crossed borders to reach Spain, setting a precedent in the global market. As it marks its second anniversary, the company celebrates this achievement and looks forward to launching a complete line of cannabis cosmetics before the year's end.

Lautaro Gieco, co-CEO of 420 CBD Premium, shared details about this monumental export with El Planteo: "This is the first international shipment of high-value-added Argentine CBD-based cosmetic products. On this first occasion, it is being sent to Barcelona (Spain), to the company Medcan, which is the first legal Spanish clinic providing guidance and information on medical treatments with medicinal cannabis."

However, the journey hasn't been straightforward. After receiving approval from ANMAT (Argentina's National Administration of Drugs, Foods and Medical Technology) in December 2022 to market 420 CBD Relax in Argentina, the company has been actively involved in national events and established strategic alliances, laying the groundwork for the export. With the backing of Droguería Garzón and support from national, provincial (Santa Fe) and municipal (Rosario) official bodies, the export became a reality.

But the company's ambitions extend beyond Spain. Gerónimo Gieco, Lautaro's brother and co-CEO of the firm, revealed that negotiations are underway with countries like Uruguay, Chile, Spain, Italy, and Turkey. "These negotiations are ongoing, and we have expectations of progressing after completing this first export to Spain," said Gerónimo Gieco.

With this export, 420 CBD Premium is positioning itself as a leader in the burgeoning Argentine cannabis cosmetics sector. "We want our premium cannabis cosmetic KIT to be present on the shelves of all pharmacies, perfumeries and health food stores in the country, making it accessible to everyone," commented Gerónimo Gieco.
