New Rec Marijuana Shops Set To Open In Boston Area

Massachusetts-based Blue River will open its first adult-use cannabis retail locations in the greater Boston area in the coming weeks.

The new stores will feature the company's proprietary lines of solventless extracts, vapes, oral capsules, edibles, beverages and locally co-branded curated selections of signature exclusive, crafted cannabis products.

The shops in Cambridge and Somerville are majority women-owned, led Economic Empowerment dispensaries.

"We are thrilled to announce the opening of our two new dispensaries, which represent the culmination of years of experience and hard work by our entire team at Blue River Terps," said Jessica Pelletier, CEO of Blue River Terps. "As a women majority-owned-and-led economic empowerment business, we are proud to be breaking down barriers in the cannabis industry."

Trulieve Expands West Virginia Retail Footprint

Trulieve Cannabis Corp. TRUL TCNNF opened its Beckley, West Virginia dispensary on Friday.

Located at 1000 N Eisenhower Dr., the medical dispensary will offer a large selection of THC products available in various consumption methods, including flower, concentrates, tinctures, topicals and ingestibles.

"We are excited to continue expanding our West Virginia presence to include this new location in Beckley and look forward to serving patients in the surrounding area," Kim Rivers, the company's CEO, said.

Trulieve operates medical dispensaries across West Virginia in Belle, Huntington, Hurricane, Milton, Parkersburg, South Charleston, Weston and two locations in Morgantown.

Cresco's New Sunnyside Dispensary Opens In South Orlando, FL

Cresco Labs CL CRLBF has opened its fourth Sunnyside dispensary in the greater Orlando, Florida region.

Sunnyside South Orlando is located at 2051 Town Center Blvd. The new store is the company's 26th dispensary in the state and 61st nationwide.

The new location will offer a wide assortment of cannabis products from the company's branded portfolio, including Cresco, One Plant, Supply, Good News, Remedi and Sunnyside.

"We're opening new retail stores in prime locations to sufficiently cover greater Orlando's four corners and serve the needs of the growing patient population in this Florida region," said Charles Bachtell, the company's CEO and co-founder.

Verano Hits Milestone Of 125 Stores With Winter Springs Location

Verano Holdings Corp. VRNO VRNOF announced the opening of MÜV Winter Springs on Friday, representing the company's 66th Florida dispensary and 125th retail outlet nationwide.

MÜV Winter Springs, located at 1315 Tuskawilla Road, offers a comprehensive product selection, including edibles, chocolates and lozenges, flower, pre-rolls, an array of vaporizer pens, concentrates, metered-dose inhalers, topicals and oral sprays.

"MÜV Winter Springs expands our retail footprint in the Orlando metropolitan area to four retail locations, allowing us to reach even more patients in Florida's medical marijuana community," John Tipton, the company's president said.
