Isiah Thomas: One World Pharma Is 'Moving Quickly' As Seed Sales Commence In Colombia

One World Pharma Inc. OWPC, under the helm of Isiah Thomas, has initiated the sale of its hemp seeds in Colombia.

The Las-Vegas based producer and distributor of cannabis and hemp raw plant ingredients became a legal seller of hemp and CBD seeds in March following the Colombian Agricultural Institute's approval.

The approval allows OWP to sell seeds in Colombia's Cauca and Andina regions.

The company can sell seeds in international markets as well, according to the Thursday press release.

"While just the beginning of our entry into the revenue phase for One World Pharma, these agreements are a significant benchmark in the execution of our business plan," Thomas said.

Thomas, the renown NBA Hall of Famer and owner of Isiah International Inc., joined OWP earlier this month as CEO and vice chairman. He replaced the company's founder Craig Ellins, who had been CEO since 2014.

Isiah explained the company is "intent on leveraging" its position and "quickly moving forward" to continue its growth and expansion.

He also said the company is developing its ingredient portfolio for commercial sale.

OWP has been operating since 2017, and since then, it has been supplying chemical formulators, food and beverage producers, and beauty product manufacturers globally.

In February, OWP agreed to supply Hemp Inc., a manufacturer of eco-friendly products, with 3,000 kilograms of non-psychoactive CBD crude and CBD distillate on a regular basis.
