ABC's "Shark Tank" hosts have gotten increasingly political in recent races. Lowercase Capital investor Chris Sacca and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban were heavily involved in
Hillary Clinton's campaign
this cycle, with Cuban appearing at Clinton events in Pittsburgh and Detroit.

While fellow Shark Kevin O'Leary was less overtly political during the campaign, he did voice support for Donald Trump's proposed business policies and discussed them with his fellow investors.

That dialogue led to clashes with Cuban, O'Leary said in an interview with Benzinga.

"I told Mark that his activism wasn't good for the show," O'Leary said. "I support policies, not politicians, and Trump's ideas will be good for entrepreneurs and good for Shark Tank."

O'Leary said future entrepreneurs will see this election was "absolutely crucial" for business.
