On the economic calendar today, net long-term TIC flows for the period of May are set to be reported at 9:00 a.m. and NAHB Housing Market Index is due at 10:00 a.m. On the commodity front, gold and silver futures are higher in pre-market trading, with gold hitting new all-times highs of 1602.50, trading about 0.5% higher. Energy futures are lower with crude oil down near the $97 per barrel level, and gasoline futures near the $3.11 level, or down about 0.5%; however, natural gas and copper futures are trading flat on today's pre-market session. On the earnings front, oil giant Halliburton HAL reported Q2 EPS of $0.81 on revenues of $5.94 billion; The Street was looking for $0.72 per share on revenues of $5.66 billion. Read more here.
