Yingli Green Energy Supplies 24 MW of Solar Modules to Puerto Rico Solar Project

, a leading solar energy company and one of the world's largest vertically integrated photovoltaic manufacturers, which markets its products under the brand "Yingli Solar", today announced that its subsidiary, Yingli Green Energy Americas ("Yingli Americas"), supplied 24 MW of solar PV modules to the largest solar project in the Caribbean. The recently-commissioned plant is located on 138 acres of land in Guayama, Puerto Rico. All electricity generated is being sold to the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
