US stock futures are higher this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 43 points to 12,456.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 5.20 points to 1,306.50. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 11.50 points to 2,516.25.
A Peek Into Global Markets
European markets were mostly lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index declined 0.61%, French CAC 40 index rose 0.48%. London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.94% and German DAX 30 index declined 0.34%. Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 2.99%, China's Shanghai Composite dropping 1.44% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 2.61%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index fell 1.30% and India's Sensex gained 0.51%.
Broker Recommendation
Analysts at UBS downgraded Cavium Inc
CAVM
from “buy” to “neutral.” The target price for Cavium has been lowered from $34 to $26. Cavium shares dropped 3.06% to close at $23.76 yesterday.
