McShane Construction Company to Build 131 Assisted Living and Memory Care Units in West Dundee, Illinois

ROSEMONT, Ill., Sept. 27, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- McShane Construction Company has been selected by Westbrook at Canterfield, LLC to build Woodlands at Canterfield. Located in West Dundee, Illinois, the new senior living development will offer 91 assisted living units and 40 memory care beds.

Residents will be able to enjoy nearly 16,000 square feet of amenity space, including a fitness center, spa, salon, pub, clubroom and guest suite. The site will also offer 92 parking spaces.

Each unit will boast high-end finishes including luxury vinyl plank flooring, maple cabinets and quartz countertops.

Positioned on a nine-acre site, the one-, two- and three-story wood frame building will feature an attractive stone and fiber cement panel exterior with a shingled roof. The community's design strives to create an overarching woodland aesthetic, paying homage to the apple orchard that once occupied the site. Additionally, the residence incorporates bright and contemporary finishes that will create a welcoming environment for residents.
