3 Turnaround Stories Getting Love From Sell-Side Analysts

Taking a look back at last week's Benzinga Pro headlines, there are several stocks whose turnaround story have been under the watchful eye of sell-side analysts.

In fact, for the first time in several years, the company managed to grow revenue on a year-over-year and sequential basis.

The Headline: "Piper Jaffray Says Coach Inc COH 'Is Firmly 'On Plan' With Its Turnaround- For the fourth quarter, the firm sees the company to top estimates."

Why It Matters: Analysts at Piper Jaffray were positive on Coach's stock ahead of the company's Tuesday morning print. The company earned $0.45 per share in the quarter on revenue of $1.14 billion compared to the $0.41 per share and $1.17 billion analysts were expecting. Coach's product offerings appear to be popular again among consumers following the implementation of a turnaround strategy which included the hiring Stuart Vevers as Creative Director.

The Headline: "From Turnaround Story To Industry Powerhouse-Joseph Bonner of Argus Research maintained a Buy rating on T-Mobile US Inc TMUS's stock with a price target boosted to $56 from a previous $49."

Why It Matters: Shares of T-Mobile have already gained more than 20 percent since the start of 2016, but the company may just be in the early stages of disrupting the telecommunication sector. Bonner stated T-Mobile is now an industry powerhouse and its peers are scrambling to mimic its effective marketing strategy and superior offerings.
