According to a research report published this morning, J.P. Morgan has increased Equifax's
EFX
PT from $47 to $50. In the report, J.P. Morgan commented, "We are reiterating our Overweight rating on Equifax shares following the company's presentation at J.P. Morgan's 40th Annual TMT Conference. CFO Lee Adrean was the lead speaker. Discussion focused on US Credit trends, margins, regulation, and international expansion. Equifax is seeing a modest lift in consumer lending through its core financial institution customers. Mortgage refis should continue to provide a tailwind in 2Q, following a +5% contribution to total revenue growth in 1Q. There was no change to 2Q,12 guidance or long-term growth objectives but we are lifting our EPS estimates post 1Q earnings results. We are raising our Dec '12 PT to $50 (from $47) to reflect our new EPS estimates." Equifax closed Friday at $44.50.
