Goldman Sachs Comments on Aruba Networks

Goldman Sachs has published a report on Aruba Networks ARUN. In the report, Goldman Sachs wrote, "Ruckus views the service provider market – including traffic offload and delivering additional services to customers – as the biggest opportunity for the company and counts AT&T, Deutsche Telecom, and China Mobile as customers. Large Ruckus deployments include what it believes to be the world's largest mobile data offload deployment with Japan's KDDI (120,000+ APs) and Wi-Fi mesh deployment with India's Tikona (45,000+ APs). Given Ruckus' size, carriers typically require the company to work with one of the large telecom equipment vendors in deployments. Per Dell'Oro, Ruckus had 41% unit share of the outdoor mesh access point market in 2010 followed by private company BelAir at 21% and Motorola at 7%." Goldman Sachs only commented on Aruba Networks, and did not rate it or give a price target. Aruba Networks closed Friday at $27.85.
