Following strong 3Q earnings, Goldman Sachs is raising its Coventry Health Care, Inc. CVH 2010 EPS by $0.77 to $3.65, $0.03 above the high-end of new guidance range of $3.52-$3.62.
“We have also modestly raised our 2011-12 EPS, to $2.65 and $2.90 from prior $2.55 and $2.70, but continue to expect the minimum MLR rules will drive lower earnings, which is in line with management's directional view for 2011,” Goldman Sachs writes.
Coventry Health Care closed Friday at $24.87.
