New KB Home Community in CO - Analyst Blog

KB Home KBH recently unveiled a new single home community called Sweetgrass. Located in Dacono, CO, the community offers five ranch style single story homes and seven two story homes. The homes are priced from $200,000s.

The homebuyers are offered to choose from 12 flexible floor plans, which can accommodate two to six bedrooms, two to four and a half baths, two to three car garages and a partial basement. Homebuyers also have the option to add a study, home office or a media center. Buyers can also choose from a host of flooring and lighting options, cabinetry and energy-efficient appliances.

Owing to its operational business model KBnxt, KB Home always begins construction only after a purchase agreement is executed. Therefore, consumers buying KB homes have the liberty to plan their homes according to their preference.

All the homes will offer Energy Star certified appliances and Wiser home management systems, which will help residents save on their utility bills. The homes will also incorporate a built-in USB port in the kitchen so that gadgets such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and other appliances can be charged easily. In addition, after the charging is complete, the USB outlet automatically shuts down to save electricity.

Last month, KB Home unveiled two KB Home Design Studios in Jacksonville and Washington, D.C. The new KB Home Design Studios will help home shoppers to customize their homes according to their preferences. KB Home customers will also be assisted by trained professionals to help them choose from various options.
