Tesla Inc TLSA shares are trading lower by $7.50 (2 percent) at $375.95 in Monday's session. The stock has been a stellar performer in 2017, up 75 percent from its year-end close of $213.69.
After higher open, Tesla attempted make another all-time high ($386.99), but was stopped four cents shy when it peaked at $386.95 in the first minute of the session.
Since reversing course, it easily breached Friday's low ($379.35), but found some intraday support just under Thursday's low ($373.57), reaching $373.10 and is attempting to remain in the $376.00 handle.
In order a new all-time closing high, it must close above Friday's close of $383.45.
