Taylor Devices Revisits October Low

Taylor Devices, Inc. TAYD shares are trading lower by $0.89 (6.7 percent) at $12.95 in Thursday's session.

The stock is trading lower for the fourth day in a row after reporting Q3 EPS of $0.10 vs. $0.35 in prior year quarter. Sales were substantially lower as well at $5.67 million vs. $8.32 million in the prior year quarter.

The stock has now revisited its October 14 low of $13.10. That low came on the day of its Q1 report, which resulted in it falling from its previous day close of $19.76 all the way to $13.20.

Taylor Devices did have a rebound to $15.69 in December but drifted lower until today's report has the issue back at the panic low from October 14.

Its lower opening print of $13.50 has turned out to be the high for the session. The ensuing decline has taken the issue to $12.89 and is now struggling to reenter the $13.00 handle.

It should be noted that Taylor Devices bottomed at the $13.00 area in February 2016, which provided the foundation for a rally to $20.45 by August 2016.
