Amazon's March To $1,000 Continues With Week-Long Win Streak In Tact

Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN shares are trading higher by $11.80 at $918.63 in Wednesday's session.

Besides a strong rally the in broad market, the issue is attracting buying interest because it has snatched streaming rights for "Thursday Night Football" from helpless Twitter TWTR, which is flat on the session.

Meanwhile, Amazon is poised to extend its seven-day winning streak that has taken the stock from its March 27 closing price of $846.82 to $920.58 earlier in today's session. It should be noted the stock has made a new all-time high and all-time closing high in each of these sessions.

After a higher open, Amazon's stock had a brief retreat but quickly found support just under the top of Tuesday's range ($908.54) at $908.09 and continued its journey higher. It reached $920.58, but has backed off to the $919.00 area.
