Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc LL shares are trading higher by $3.40 (23 percent) at $18.76 in Tuesday's session. The catalyst for the rally is a Q4 EPS beat of $0.11 along with a $3.7 million beat for revenues.
The embattled flooring company embroiled in controversy regarding the safety of its products since early 2014 is having one its bests day in years. The stock plunged from the $60 level to under $30 within a matter of week back in March of 2015.
After a higher open, it retreated to $16.45 before continuing its moves higher. It has continued to make new highs for the session, with the current one standing at $18.90. That marks the highest level for the issue since it peaked at $20.10 in October 2016.
