Facebook Inc FB shares were trading higher by $0.30 at $133.53 in Thursday's session. In a volatile session, the issue managed to make a new all-time high.
After announcing a Q4 EPS beat of $0.11 along with $300 million beat for revenues, the issue was trading in the green for all of the after-hours and pre-market sessions.
However, off the open it stalled at its all-time high at that time of $133.50 and went into a free fall. The ensuing decline found support $0.08 ahead of Wednesday's low ($130.68) only reaching $130.76 before embarking on a furious rally.
The rebound took the issue over $1.00 passed its former all-time high as the current high stands at $134.74. In order to post a new all-time closing high, it would need to end today's session above October 24 close of $133.28.
