Will Blackberry Be Able Continue To Reverse Ugly Revenue Trend

Blackberry Ltd, BBRY shares are trading higher by $0.08 at $8.10 in Thursday's session. The company will announce Q4 earnings after the close. Street estimates stand at an EPS of ($.09) on revenues of $563M. Since converting its symbol and name from Research In Motion RIMM to Blackberry Ltd. BBRY in early 2013, the company has undergone a huge revenue decline. In fact, up until its last report, where it beat revenues $68M, it has yielded lower revenues in every quarter since Q1 pf 2014. In that disastrous quarter the company miss revenues by $30 and whiffed on EPS by $0.21. In the following quarter, revenues dropped off a cliff from $3.07B to $1.6B and been heading south ever since. It may have finally found a bottom in Q2, when revenues dwindled to $481M. Along with this disturbing revenue trend, the company is poised to report is poised to post a quarterly loss for the ninth time in the last 11 quarters.
