S&P 500 Index Futures Struggling To Hold 2100

S&P 500 index futures are unchanged at 2100 in Wednesday's session. So far, the index has traded in only a 7.5 point trading range. Off the open, it matched the pre-market low 2097.50 and began to rally. It has found intra-day resistance ahead of the its pre-market high of 2105, only reaching 2103.25. All but two of the top 10 components of the index are in the green. The biggest loser is Exxon Mobil Corporation XOM shares -- dragged down by lower Crude Oil prices -- trading lower by $0.62 at $81.27. Leading the way on the upside is Microsoft Corporation MSFT shares (up $0.48 at $55.70) which broke out of the $55 level on Tuesday.
