United Airlines Holdings recently reported upbeat third-quarter results, but warned that fourth-quarter earnings could be as low as $1.50 per share versus $3.65 per share in the current quarter.

Price Action: Lamar Advertising shares gained 3.1% to close at $95.00, while United Airlines shares gained 4.7% to settle at $37.51 on Friday. Gartner gained 14.6% to close at $386.71, while Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund added 0.6% during Friday’s session.
