ConocoPhillips, Berkshire Hathaway, Valero Energy And A Tech Stock With 'A Long Runway': CNBC's 'Final Trades'

On CNBC’s "Halftime Report Final Trades," Karen Firestone of Aureus Asset Management said Autodesk, Inc’s ADSK stock has been weak over the past year and a half, but they reported a decent quarter. "We think there is a long runway now," she added.

The company reported quarterly earnings of $1.91 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.72. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.34 billion, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.32 billion.

Rob Sechan said ConocoPhillips COP is one of the best names in the space.

ConocoPhillips reported second-quarter adjusted EPS of $1.84, missing the consensus of $1.94.

Jim Lebenthal of Cerity Partners named Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK-A) (NYSE: BRK-B) as his final trade.

The company’s shares added around 17% over the past six months.

Valero Energy reported second-quarter revenues of $34.5 billion, beating the consensus of $34.37 billion.

Price Action: Valero Energy shares gained 2.8% to settle at $133.12, while Berkshire Hathaway shares rose 0.5% to close at $355.93 on Friday. ConocoPhillips shares gained 1.5% to close at $116.52, while Autodesk climbed 3.5% to $215.92 on Friday.
