JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd (NYSE:JKS) shares are trading higher by 8.5% at $61.51 after the company announced its advanced high-efficiency solar module set a new conversion efficiency record of 23.53%.
JinkoSolar says the result was independently tested and confirmed by TÜV Rheinland, one of the world's leading testing service providers on internationally recognized safety and quality standards.
JinkoSolar is engaged in the photovoltaic industry. The firm has built a vertically integrated solar power product value chain, manufacturing from silicon wafers to solar modules. It sells solar modules under the JinkoSolar brand.
JinkoSolar has a 52-week high of $90.20 and a 52-week low of $18.56.
