China YCT Internatioanal Group

Shares of Shares of China YCT International Group (OTC: CYIG), the china-based company, specializing in the production and sales of Gingko nutraceutical health products, rose almost 100,000% at one point on Monday on 65,000 times average volume.

There was no specific news to account for the move and a company listed as the investor relations contact, said they have not represented China YCT International Group for five years. The company did file a 10Q on February 13.

China YCT International Group closed at $1.40 on Monday.

HMG/Courtland Properties

HMG/Courtland Properties (NYSE: HMG), the Coconut Grove, FL REIT, rose 139% Monday on 363 times average volume.

On February 25, 2013, HMG/Courtland Properties and its 95% owned subsidiary, Courtland Investments, completed the sale of the Company's interests in Grove Isle Associates LLLP, Grove Isle Yacht Club Associates, Grove Isle Investments Inc. and CII Yacht Club, Inc., which represent interests in the Grove Isle hotel, club, tennis courts and marina to Grove Isle Yacht & Tennis, LLC, a Florida limited liability company and an unrelated entity, pursuant to a purchase agreement entered into on the same day. The purchase price was $24.4 million, consisting of $23.4 million in cash and a $1 million promissory note due from the Purchaser. Approximately $2.7 million of the proceeds were used to pay off the existing mortgage on the Grove Isle Property. The Company estimates a consolidated gain on the sale of these interests of approximately $20 million (or $20 per share) before the incentive fee.

HMG/Courtland Properties closed at $16.50 on Monday.

Advanced Photonix

Shares of Advanced Photonix (NYSE: API), the Ann Arbor, MI supplier of optoelectronic components, rose 13% Monday on twice average volume.

Advanced Photonix announced Monday that it has acquired certain assets of Silonex, a wholly owned subsidiary of ARCAS Automotive Group (Luxco 1) S.a.r.l. , in exchange for a cash payment of $900,000.

Advanced Photonix closed at $0.51 on Monday.
