Les Moonves: "I'm Very Fond Of Charlie Sheen" (CBS)

Les Moonves, the President and CEO of CBS Corporation CBS, told CNBC that with regards to the former star of Two and a Half Men, “Look, I'm very fond of Charlie Sheen. There are a lot of legal matters so I can't comment any further.” When asked if he could see the show going on without Charlie Sheen, Moonves reiterated his inability to comment. As far as Katie Couric is concerned, Moonves said that CBS is having conversations with her right now and that it's getting close to the time when a decision is going to be made. Moonves also reiterated his views on the streaming of live CBS content on the iPad and other devices, which he is adamantly against. Finally, Moonves spoke to CNBC about CBS' recent success. “In the last two years, our stock was up eight times,” Moonves said. “I'd say that's a pretty good track record. We're pretty pleased with how we're performing. As we look at the future we look forward to it growing even more.”
