Mashable
reports that Evernote, the popular note-taking platform, has surpassed 10 million registered users – a 67% increase from when the firm reached six million users. Evernote, which launched its open beta in June 2008, has also amassed more than 420K paying users who subscribe to the company's monthly $5 service. But that's not all: Mashable also reports that 75% of Evernote's users are accessing the platform on two or more devices (46% use it on two, 18% use it on three, 7% use it on four, and 4% use it on five or more). Mashable quotes the company's founder and CEO, Phil Libin, who says, “Ten million users seemed like an inconceivable number when we were getting ready to launch the service into open beta less than three years ago. Well, it wasn't literally inconceivable; we actually put it on business plans and investor pitch decks and everything.”
