What Happened: On Thursday, YouTube confirmed the broad rollout of &#8220;Pause ads&#8221; to all advertisers. Now, when a user pauses a video, an ad will appear&nbsp;on the side of the&nbsp;screen, <a href="https://edition.cnn.com/2024/09/19/business/youtube-ads-paused-screen/index.html">reported</a> CNN.
