AMERISAFE Appoints Andrew McCray Executive Vice President

DERIDDER, La., May 13, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AMERISAFE, Inc. AMSF, a specialty provider of workers' compensation insurance focused on high hazard industries, today announced that Andrew McCray has been hired to serve as its new executive vice president, chief underwriting officer.

Mr. McCray comes to AMERISAFE with more than 30 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to joining AMERISAFE, he was Senior Director – Global P&C Strategy and Product Innovation for Assurant.  He also previously served as business leader for commercial lines and vice president and director of regional underwriting operations for Utica National Insurance Group. His experience also includes leadership positions at Selective, RLI Corporation and Westfield Insurance.
