Foundation Capital Welcomes Scott Sorochak as Entrepreneur in Residence

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Foundation Capital today announced Scott Sorochak will join the firm as an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR). A Silicon Valley veteran, Scott has focused his professional career on startups and early stage companies. Most recently, he co-founded and led business development for Rivet Games, a social gaming company.

At Foundation Capital, Sorochak will help to increase proprietary deal flow for social gaming and consumer internet startups, as well as continue to incubate ideas he is working on.

With roles at early internet companies such as Dialog Information Services and Netcom, Sorochak worked with the early creators of the web, experienced the introduction of search engines and witnessed the change in the way people accessed information on the internet. In addition, he has held sales and management roles at @Home Network, Propel Software, CaseCentral, Book Crossing and Adteractive.
