KIRKLAND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Hipcricket, an Augme Technologies, Inc. company AUGT, today announced that Mobile Marketer, the news leader in mobile marketing, media and commerce, has named it “Mobile Service Provider of the Year” for 2011.

The publication's awards are “handed out each year for outstanding work that moved the mobile needle for brands and marketers.”

Mobile Marketer also honored Macy's, a Hipcricket client, as the 2011 “Mobile Marketer of the Year.”
