Founder of Hong Kong-Based GIFT Think Tank to Speak at AFF 2012

Hong Kong, Dec 21, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Asia must reject the "Western economic model" of consumerism and find a new direction, one in which safe food, water and sanitation are higher priorities than acquiring cars and mobile phones, according to Chandran Nair, founder of the Hong Kong-based think tank Global Institute for Tomorrow (GIFT).

Speaking ahead of the 16-17 January 2012 Asian Financial Forum (AFF), Mr Nair outlined ideas central to GIFT. He founded the institute in 2004, and has developed it into a company that now provides field-based executive learning programmes.
