LiveOffice Helps Streamline the Transition Process for Microsoft Exchange Hosted Archive Customers

LiveOffice, the number-one global provider of cloud-based email archiving, email compliance, email discovery and email continuity solutions, today announced the EHA Fast Pass migration program, a transition service developed in collaboration with Microsoft to streamline the migration process for select Microsoft Exchange Hosted Archive (EHA) customers to LiveOffice cloud archiving.

Following the launch of Microsoft Office 365 in June 2011, Microsoft began the process of transitioning existing EHA customers to Exchange Online Archiving—the next generation of Microsoft's cloud-based archiving solution. To assist customers in cases where their email archiving needs are unable to be met by either Exchange Online Archiving or the built-in archiving capabilities of Office 365, Microsoft has partnered with LiveOffice to offer existing EHA customers an alternative choice in the following situations:

  • Customers who cannot meet the minimum technical requirements for Exchange Online Archiving.
  • Customers with specific industry or governmental regulation requirements, such as FINRA or SEC Rules 17a-3 and 17a-4.
  • Customers who also need to archive other content types, such as Microsoft SharePoint, instant messages, social media and Bloomberg.

LiveOffice designed the EHA Fast Pass migration program to ensure a smooth data migration from EHA to LiveOffice, while preserving metadata for chain of custody. In addition, LiveOffice will offer the EHA to LiveOffice migration at no cost to the customer.
